Information You Submit
A name or location entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. We do not store or log those search terms on our own systems. The provider's policy governs its handling of the query.
If you email us or send a contact message, we retain the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share the message outside our organization unless the law requires disclosure.
Automatic Technical Information
Ordinary web systems may collect technical and usage details when a page loads:

These choices concern data held by this private site. Requests for Pocahontas County records are governed separately by Iowa Code chapter 22 and must go to the public office that maintains them.
